Smile just thought i would show you all my cooling mod

my falcon with a new RGH and custom cooling mod. temps taken after 2 hours of game play on battlefeild 3. plus it only cost me a 12 quid






temps before cooling mod were = cpu 49.3 gpu 58.9 mem 60.1 case 55.4 running idle

unfortunately, the temp does not totally mean no rrod.
i had my xenon gpu down to 41deg C full load from 70+ at idle and it ended up rrod while just sat on the dash.
it will prolong its life though, no doubt

i found also that the bigger heatsing on the gpu held more heat so i just had the standard gpu heatsink and a 120mm fan above it with system fans on 100%

i love the fact that you can make the 360 look as frankenstein as you like and it still is awesome to look at

why do you have just thermal pads on the chips? that will not help anything as they are made to transfer the heat to something else not to dissipate the heat by themselves.

also you should try it with the old cpu heatsinks with the copper pipes i have found they work better then the new aluminum only ones

Damn, all that and my stock Jasper still has similar temps at 75% fan speed.
