4.00 ? Just hope the flasher and the downgrade process works with it.
But it should be no difference since its the bios you flash and not the software. Just the downgrade that could be on a thin line Any words if he managed to half dual boot yet ? |

Think you have to erase the chip on the e3 card.
Dunno. But theres a switch on top of the e3 card that i think erases the memory. Just like when you remove the battery on a pc motherboard. Only there you just reset the bios settings. Try it. Worst that could happen is that you get an error code on the e3 flasher |

for Information:
yes downgrade with this tutorial works for the new 4.0 Firmware!!! yes you can downgrade one ps3 and than put E3 in a second ps3 for downgrade! but only with this tutorial! the dual boot of the e3 don't work with the switch CFW->OFW, because we have actually no access to the e3 NOR to flash it! the E3 erase always the nor before he flash your backup! |

Thanks you for your method, It worked perfectly on my 80 gb cechl04, but I'm having a problem with my cechk04, when I try to open the flash backup with your software it say "The Dump Has No ifof" something like that, I'm now wondering what can i do solve this? can I use another backup of the same ofw backuped from another model?
