Sorry for newb question but whats the easiest way to make sure the dump of your nor is 100%? I've read http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Validating_flash_dumps but i am still confused anyone wanna help.

I just cant do it. I havent been able to use the E3 Flasher because everytime I setup it and turn the ps3 on , the fan starts going crazy and the ps3 shuts down due to over heat. I thought I bricked the ps3 but I havent. I took off the e3flasher and everything went fine again. Please help my model is CHECH 2004 B SLIM

I sucessfully got this to work but i cannot run any backup managers, any help with this or can someone post a working backup manager.

Hi, I'm Jakkrit. After I flashed the dump file to my PS3. I got Blackscreen and no sound (I knew it bricked). When I connect SBE to tristate and try to flash again. It work but I can't flash e3_downgrade.bin. It show error code 11001000 (Sometime 11000100). How can I do?

Model : CECHL04 (Fat)
Mobo : VER-001
NOR : Spansion
Tools : E3 flasher limited

i recommend to not use the e3_downgrade.bin method, patch your backup and flash it to downgrade your PS3! It's the saver way...

I used my E3 flasher once with e3_downgrade.bin and now I did another downgrade to another PS3 version, following this guide and using e3 flasher samsung's update. Everything gone well.

hi DK333,

your ps3 are a CECH-21xx (SUR-001) or CECH-25xx (JTP-001) or CECH-25xx (JSD-001) with bootldr size: 2F4F0 , with last ofw411 and a hdd from TOSHIBA MK1255GSX H

dump is fine

here are the patched bkpps3.bin rename it to bkpps3.bin to use it then under FUN-MODE : 100000 and flash then the ps3 nor.
