What are the specs on your machine???

Just was wondering who here on PS3Hax.net likes messing with their computers a lot and have a love for powerful hardware. I would love to see what kind of computer everyone uses around here.

Link to it like so:
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2097140

Download CPUZ here: http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/1.58-32bits-en.zip

PS: Lets see who has the best RIG (clearly not going to be me) .

EDIT: here are the steps to get your validation using CPUZ.
1. Run CPU-z
2. Click on the "About" Tab
3. Click on Validation
4. Change the name if desired
5. Place email for safe keeping of the record
6. Click submit
7. A browser window will automatically open up with the page with your records.

Hmm wonder why yours was rejected by CPUZ...and nice to see people overclocking....lol. Also I noticed that you are running under 1GHz in the validation, Im guessing its a laptop as they that would make sense to save on power.

Well on laptops there isn't much to go with. Alot of options are either disabled or not even present. If you don't care about battery duration then look for features that are power saving features, and disable them as some power features involve throttling your CPU. You are able to overclock so those types of options should be there. More advanced Overclocking options might not be present. An alternative is using software to overclock. The 550v apparently is similar or exactly the same as the 4650 so you should be able to clock the GPU up higher.

Also if you are able to increase the voltage and have it at a reasonable level you might be able to get a higher overclock on the CPU and stability. WARNING setting too high of a voltage can damage your CPU and/or the rest of your system.

Happy enough for the €150 I haggled it for! I can run Live For Speed @100FPS solid now, compared to 5FPS on my old P4 2.4ghz, that's all I need! Cooling's next, picking up a Thermalright HR-03 GT in a few hours to help keep my 8800GT down from the 70C it's at now.. Then get my Northbridge down from 80 C and I'm good to go!

Cool idea for a thread btw!

IDEA: If you decide to push your GPU more to its limits you can actually turn it into a 9800GT with a bios mod. Here is a link if you want to try :
http://www.erodov.com/forums/bios-mo...0gt/10775.html. The fanless heatsink you are going for is good I hear but I always stray far from fanless designs just because well....its fanless lol. Hope your case has good airflow.
