i won't hope but i will keep an eye out.. Sony won't care much about 3.xx after 4.0 comes out.. so maybe Devs (or anybody else) would feel a bit safer and release their work...

lol so TB would be kinda useless after 4.0? i mean min game req could be 4.0 for newer games if TB manages to do something then they are totally awsm

the true question is if e3 flasher or progskeet flasher can downgrade from this firmware i dont think sony could patch it and if thats the case i can see more people maybe grabing one to downgrade

Since *probably* TB have keys up to 3.73 my guess is they can break any future FW with method used to dump 3.7x keys to get 4x keys?

but for 4.x games they will sell it as Jailbreak 3/True Blue 2

I'm gonna update. No security patches in the whats new so I'll give it a go so I can keep playing online. I can't wait for the PS3 to be as cracked as the PSP.

Oh and they added a safety screen when the PS3 first turns on :/ lame!

From the looks of it, this was more of a feature upgrade than a security upgrade, so I bet KaKaRoToKS' 3.73 exploit still works.

Also, updates like this one are when Sony tends to make some big mistakes. How much do ya wanna bet adding all the Vita/PS3 connectivity features to the PS3 opened up a hole to exploit?

yep, maybe ps vita may be the link.. remember when they found the psp keys in the ps3 .. maybe theirs a way of getting access to the latest keys from ps vita.. we'll wait and see i guess...
