RUMOR - Downgrade to stock Firmware
Donīt know if this works just RUMOR !!!
Source: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f263/dow...-needed-98832/ If your ps3 is already jailbroken, there is no need to do this this is for people on 3.73, who still haven't yet downgraded. Step 1. Download the 4.00 upgrade via ps3 step 2. while its installing (NOT DOWNLOADING) once its around 10%-90% (mine was on like 32%) turn off the console Step 3. Turn on the console step[ 4. your now presented with 2 options, 1. try and repair the current firmware 2. restore ps3 to factory default firmware step 5. choose the restore to factor default you now have a ps3 running its original out of box firmware. ps: I think when we abort the update process the PS3 bricks or not ? when this post is nonsense pls delet it and sry... Pfft, if your on 4.00 already then go ahead and try this to confirm it, video proof would have been better :/
Guys dont try this if your on 3.7x just wait for someone to confirm or wait for KaKaRoTo |

this way is so old and it never works as i read before . i dont think sony would add a extra option to the 4,00 fw to restore default firmware if it stops half way more like to make it ask for the same version .
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* yep the quick and easy route to a brick i say |

That will have a 90% chance of bricking your console, or leaving you in a update loop. Saying that, if it was legit(99.99999% sure its not), it would be extremely funny
