playing snes games on a ps3...??
Can someone please help me with how to set up my ps3 to play super nintendo games? You can hit me up on aim, my sn is djheez or message me on here.

If your PS3 is on 3.55 or lower, install CFW, install emulator and run SNES ROMs from USB or internal drive.

then install the snes emualtor package thru package folder in simple turms google is your friend and youtube is a better friend what firmware are you on at the moment check on your ps3 system settings down the 2nd from bottom shoult tell you in xmb |

Here is thread that shows the diffrent emulators options you can have with Custom Firmware..
Link but if your on Firmware 3.56 or higher you have to downgrade it, i never had to do that task of downgrading but i know it involves buying some extra products and opening up your ps3.. If your on Firmware 3.55 and below then you are good. Stay on 3.55 or update to it with Sony official Firmware(3.55), Then to a CFW (kmeaw) .. Last edited by STLcardsWS; 12-02-2011 at 08:20 PM. |

can someone that has done it walk me thru step by step? also, once i do this i can never use psn again is that correct? is that the only downfall?
