That does look interesting.
Must be a scam but who knows. Maybe that loader ferrox put on youtube was really this chip in its working. |

It might be real becuase it dosn't say loads ISO's which is what a scammer might aim for.

Uber chip?
The InFeCtUs Modchip claims to do two things in regards to the PS3.
A. It claims to allow us to Downgrade our Firmware. (Or reinstall Sony's firmware when our modified firmware messes up our PS3's) and B. It claims to allow us to apply "Real-Time Patches". Basically, It allows us to modify the code of the XMB without installing a different version of the firmware. We can tell that this feature has not yet been added because of how the company describes it as "Another new feature that we want to add" Is this chip the first of its kind? (Yes, the first chip released for the PS3 anyway) Is it something to look forword to? Definatly. |

I am really looking forward to DUAL firmwares, or OEC style firmware so there is a possiblity to play online.

Unless they aren't selling it now (I am too lazy to check right now), and they are just updating us with what the chip is capable of at the moment. |
