hi guys

I have a PS3 3.55 jailbroken and my brother accidentally update it to 3.56 after installing tombraider.

Base on the other site and here in Hax, there is no CFW for 3.56

Now my question is, Would I be able to downgrade it to 3.55 CFW

If not....

Can I restore my PS3 to the original FW before, because when I bought this originally, it is in OFW 3.15

I don't care about the save's that I have if restoring the PS3 to the original state would solved the issue...

So if I would be able to restore everything from the scratch, would there be a possibility to re jailbreak my PS3 again to 3.55 CFW?

theres 2 option

1) did u ever did the qa flag your ps3 when u was on 3.56 . if yes then u would be able to downgrade with out hardware mod ?

2) if u didnt do the above then only option is to downgrade via hardware mod eg progskeet , teensy etc

Pretty sure QA flag wouldn't work because the new updater will reject the PUP. I could be wrong though.

nah if you qa flag the ps3 on 3.55 u can update to 3.56 and downgrade back to 3.55 thew qa flag. its the only fw higher than 3.55 u can it

Have you ever tried?
Yes, QA flag is still active in 3.56, but the updater2 might make it impossible to downgrade again.

update 2 not in 3.56 dont think . any way he wouldbe able 2 if hes on 3.56 and qa flag been done on 3.56

Actually I didn't do any of those steps right now, So what will happen If I just restore my ps3 to factory installed?

Would you recommend that or No?

doing thatwont change your firmware at this moment your only option is 2 downgrade via hardware mod eg progskeet ect

Updater2 is present in 3.56. If it wasn't, making a 3.56 CFW would be easy.
3.56 introduced updater2. What 3.60 did was hide the loaders in lv0 that hasn't been hacked yet.
Anyway the only thing you can do is downgrade with flasher or wait and see what KaKaRoTo has to offer :P
