Whilst I agree with you Greg on everything you say, the fact is TB is only stealing from the scene because we don't have the keys. The likes of Math and Kakaroto could finish TB for good over a weekend if they put their collective heads together, but month after month pass and we are no closer to playing new titles. Its frickin depressing.

Another primaballerina... Diseased what? Am I knocking on any devs home and spitting them on the face? The mass of end-users are just the auditorium sitting in front of a huge scene with a large red curtain seperating the actors (devs) from the audience. The audience does not go behind the curtain! Once in a while an actor comes before the audience, gives a bad act (Yeah! I have a new exploit, I'm so great and accept donations... Oh, no, wait... I really ain't got nothing) and gets whistled of the stage. Then he goes "OMG... Why won't you respect my work! I have done so much for you in the past!". Yeah... You did, but know You are just taunting us when we really need you. Get the idea? I'm not interrupting their work. For all I care they can go back to their IRC channels and post nothing on Twitter and sites like this and work in peace. But if I go out to the public - prepare to be judged. And don't call me ignorant, basher.

I can however somewhat relate to You btw. I have been a Game Master at a UO RPG server for 5 years and through all this time I've dealt with user bashing and I had similar reactions ("Y U Hatin'... I work for free and for your pleasure") . At one point however I have noticed that whatever You do there are always a few percent of people that are going to hate no matter how good you are. If you stop doing what you do just because of them it means that you don't believe in your work in the first place or have some self-esteem issues.

I completely agree. The scene is full of haters. People already know/expect it.
Its not right, its annoying but that's the way it is.
nobody was under the illusion that it was going to be a caring/sharing scene.

We can try and hide it but the fact still remains

An old saying that fits well is "if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen" but to keep joining/leaving is a sign of either attention deficit/self esteem/insecurity
