After seeing SKFU's post to the b*tches in the scene, i considered writing my own message, but my words are too venomous and would not really be suitable for this forum, so the next best thing to SKFU's message, is one by my buddy Jake Durasamy aka z31kKU on twitter, i must warn you, that he is a member of this forum, so any insults towards him will be dealt with accordingly:

Before I start, I want people to understand that I am addressing the PlayStation 3 development scene. As a former developer and co-creator of a ROM hacking project, I find it plain disrespectful to developers and community when people barely contribute to research. These same people complain when things aren’t released but they seem to be unaware that the community works in two ways: – You must contribute with research. Once this is done, then you get to see releases from some of the talented developers in the PS3 scene. These developers won’t ever ask for donations but they are appreciated. This is where people get it wrong. As a developer that accepted donations in the past, I will tell you that just because you donate, production will not get better. It’s still all about the research and contributions in that sense. Donations are optional and not mandatory; if you donate, don’t get bitter when **** isn’t released. There’s one thing that has pissed me off in the last few months and that’s the hatred towards Mathieulh. Can you blame him for not releasing things? There are people copying and leaking his exploits and people insulting him on a daily basis. Mathieulh is only doing what I stated months ago: For this community to move forward all people have to do is contribute with research, donations aren’t necessary. In other words, don’t blame Mathieulh; blame yourselves. I’m not going to pretend that I like the entire scene, because I don’t. I like some of the developers and contributors and writers. The writers in the community need more props. Most of us, write for free. Fortunately for me, Dashhacks used to pay good money for me to write for them and I still work there but the money isn’t as good. I respect people like Gregory Rasputin at PS3HaX who write for free for the sake of sharing ground-breaking news and keeping the scene alive. I find the community lazy. A lot of people have stated the only reason they can’t contribute is because they can’t code. To those people I say: “you’ve got to start somewhere”. In-fact a lot of research requires no coding knowledge. Hell, even KaKaRoTo’s ported EFL library requires little knowledge of coding. I’ll never forget what I read today on Dashhacks regarding what I wrote on KaKaRoTo’s 3.73 (HEN) Jailbreak – People responded with comments like, “No free games = Not worth it”. Are you ****ing serious? If you’re pirating games, you should be in the 360 Scene, it’s a lot less effort to do so and development for back-up playability is a lot more productive. Pirates are not only killing the development scene by giving developers a bad name, but also the actual gaming industry. To put it simply, piracy isn’t cool anymore. I think a lot of the community is in this scene for the wrong reasons. I value and respect our developers and for this post, Mathieulh and KaKaRoTo’s get a shout-out and a massive thank you. I wish you guys the best and don’t let the ignorance; insults and annoyance of the community get to you guys. I’d appreciate if this is tweeted and re-tweeted of twitter and shared on social networks.

I agree 100 and thank you for sharing Greg, I Ain't telling you how to do your job but if I was you I'd sticky this... People NEED TO KNOW. I agree with everything from the underapreciated devs to the f*** offs who only want piracy. It's gross, I'm waiting here patiently for kakaroto's software in a few weeks, I said patiently because hell, I've been on 3.55+ OFW forever, I've waited a lot and I'm finally gonna have a chance. I'm nothing but grateful... Meanwhile people only want a free mw3 and will demean anyone to get it.... Oh, humanity.

Actually here you are wrong,piracy isn't killing anything,when opportunity present it self people will take advantage of that every time,actually i am downloading games now,but i wasnt downloading the last 4 years i started doing that when jb came out and the opportunity presented to me,now before that i was buying the games but here is the thing i wasnt buying new games but already preowned on ebay,so according to the new statements from sony and the gaming companies buying preowned games is destroying the industry,so i guess i was destroying the gaming companies in the last 4 years,so now i am downloading the games so i wont destroy the companies.

the hatred towards him is coz of the video he posts,and by that i am guessing you all know what i mean.No need for the videos if you not gonna release anything,just keep it to your self and dont piss people of with the comments.

if you can code and you dont understand anything in that area you cant start from anywhere,that is a fact and dont forget that,you dont learn that over night.

I can only agree to the statement

People should see their PS3 as a game and not as a console. it is just a big puzzle with different kind of levels. Mathieu has reached the highest level (lv0), now we have to find out how we can also finish the game by reaching lv0 So let's start puzzling all together and respect each-other's findings, even if they don't want to share the methods. How fun is a game if everything is told to you on forehand and you don't have to find out anything? Ever made a special combo in a game and wanted to keep that combo to yourself? What is wrong with that?

I fully agree. piracy pretty much killed the psp and i don't want to see that happen to the PS3. It is sad on how people hate Mathieulh because if he releases his stuff without teaching others. Then when he walks away the scene will be dead.

you cant ask people to STFU,people will always whine and ask for more even if hey have everything even if they have the world,that is in our nature in our blood we are insatiable species,we will always want more.If devs dont want to release stuff that is their business no one is blaming them,but people will always ask.
