you dont have to solder you can just twist the wires together
but you should check xbox-scene.com they have a bst section and you should be able to find one

no not every 360 is jtagable. the jtag and the rgh hack are two different hacks that have the same functions

If you are really having trouble making a PMT probe I will be more than happy to sell you one but considering all you need is a 360 DVD power cable, a switch, some wire, and a sewing needle you would be better of taking the 10 minutes to make one yourself.

If you plan on flashing your drive you should just wait until the new LT 3.0 comes out so all your backups can be playable. If you jump the gun you may find your favorite backup will not work, and flag you for the next banwave.

As far as being Jtaggable pbanj is correct (as usual). You can RGH most units but not all. (xenons and Coronas are not possible). With the jtag there were several different factors. The JTAG hack cannot be done on newer dashes, but the RGH can. You cannot JTag a slim but you can RGH it (unlees it is a Corona). You cannot RGH a xenon but if you are on a low enough dash version you can jtag it.

Well thinking about it the cost of buying Dual Layers to back my games up is still pricey, plus I can get banned and I am planning on getting Minecraft when it comes out one day. So I guess I should just be careful with how I handle my games.
