It is cool in games that did have always been built on that foundation! I agree. Like DMC has always been about that. Ninja Gaiden has always been that way. God of War has always been that way. MG? Nope.

Metal Gear, whether it be Metal Gear on the NES, Metal Gear Solid on the PS1/PC, PS2/Xbox, PS3, Metal Gear Acid, Peace Walker and Portable Ops on the PSP, it has always been about STEALTH.

And now this random spin-off, the odd one of the group, has to be about fast paced sword combat....

WHO ASKED FOR THIS?!?! It's not like the fans of MG have been dying for fast paced sword combat....

I know were your coming from im the same as you, its not the same or what you'd expect from metal gear solid. i loved the ps1 version and played it over and over but i think id play this game only a few times before id give it up. i don't like sword games but this one looks good although i cant take games with swords seriously, not like the good old stealth combat or gun action your used too lol

I couldn't agree more. This is not the Metal Gear series I have enjoyed since the late 80's (87 if memory serves me right). I think they are taking the entire series in the wrong direction, and personally think a complete new reboot of the game would have been much more appealing.
