It's true!!! EA does suck.

Look what they did to Battlefield 3! Forcing everyone to use the origin service... These corporate bigots think they can do anything to ruin a perfectly good game.

It gets to the stage, as @fahadsul3man noted, where these figures just don't seem out of the ordinary because they do it so often.

EA sucks for a whole lot of reasons...they do a lot of very shady things and they keep getting away with it so the feel like they can keep pushing.

Here is a company that releases the same sports games every year, forcing people to buy the new versions to keep playing online...and they never even bother to fix the bugs in spite of the fact that the engines never change.

Not just sports games. Don't forget the needs for speed series. There are about 4 or 5 series games out of the 18 games they actually produced!

That is what happens when companies get big. They capitalize on their customers. Activision originally started out as a company of the people because they didn't like how Atari was doing things, and now Activision is hated by everybody because they got big. EA is the same.

It's all about the $ once you're on their level.

Activision, Sony, EA, Microsoft, Apple, Capcom etc... the list of companies that suck goes on but we have to deal with them to support the Devs that are getting their stuff published through them

I'm not 100% sure Microsoft belongs on that list. Windows is far from perfect, but the freedom it allows is far greater than any hacked/jailbroken device...and that is without hacking.

As for supporting Sony, EA, Activision, Apple, and Capcom in order to support those that go through them, why? If a company makes an iOS/PS3/360 exclusive, then they don't deserve to make any money off it. If a studio publishes a game through EA, Activision, or Capcom, then they don't deserve to sell any copies.

^^ I enjoy street fighter games sadly, and I am looking forward to Respawn Entertainments new video game IP, (being published through EA, because EA was the only publisher allowing them to make a new video game IP)

BS..."Allowing them to"? Unless EA owns the IP, they don't "Allow" anyone to do anything. If Respawn wants to be just another small developer exploited by EA to the point that they can't even make their own games and decisions, that is their right...but they have plenty of other choices.
