ya kind of warned you. this is why most developers keep quiet until they figure out something useful before getting the community hyped than let down in disappointment. However, keep on trying to figure out ways.

Right now based on all the clues is you will need the linux installed on your ps3 and use that to get the level0 key. Seems like geohot was the first to do that and figure out the key using that. Math tried what geohot did and seem to figure out how to get the master key too. So that seems like the way to go to figure out the master key. That is one of the main reason sony removed the other os feature.

However I am more of a software hacker than hardware hacker so I wouldn't know how to do the memory attack they did.
