cheers mate, i wasnt feeling this at all untill i added the curvy brushes and some gradient maps but i do quite like it now

Very nice. IF you want to play with effects maybe blur the sword just a little...this guy is taking it out, cutting someone in half, and putting it back all in a blink of an eye, right?

yeah mate like some motion blur thats a nice idea ill try that
