if components are flashing then i think you may have killed them.
did you cover over any non essential components to avoid burning them?

i was always under the assumption that in celsius you only needed a sustained 220 degrees temp (approx) in order to fully reflow the unleaded solder from what i read up on. did you get mixed up between F and C? 350C sounds too high to me. (350f = 176c) which sounds more realistic

"ticking" sounds when cooling are normal. the mainboard is fibreglass and as i work in composites i am well used to hearing it "pop" when laminate components cool

With tin/lead there has been total industry unanimity about the composition of solder to be used — eutectic solder with 63% tin and 37% lead composition and a melting point of 183°C. With this composition, there was a big difference between the melting point and peak temperature (220°C). Even though it has been a recommended to maintain the temperature across the entire board between 210°–220°C, one easily could get away with maintaining a temperature of 190°–225°C and still achieve good reflow soldering results. This is about to change.

With the impending implementation of lead-free, SAC (Sn/Ag/Cu) solders have a melting point of about 220°C. Some components, such as aluminum electrolytic capacitors, put restrictions on maximum temperature and duration above 230°C.
A peak temperature of 226˚ to 228˚C with 45 to 60 seconds time above liquidus (TAL) will be sufficient to reflow lead-free BGAs

going over 230c for short periods shouldnt do too much harm but 120 degrees higher doesnt seem good

if you sustained 350c then it sounds like it could be game over (unless you test it and get lucky).
i dont know the maximum temp the rsx itself can handle so you may want to try and find out

did your father preheat the motherboard if not that was the ticking noise
rapid heating of the colder parts = not good
350 Celsius is way to high

tbh i think it has done more harm then good to the board

@Juellez , if you bought it with YLOD already, it was probably reflown many times... Ask your father to buy some no-clean flux and try again using it... If it still doesn't work, the problem might not be about the cell-rsx lead balls cracking, some other component may be broken...

350 degrees thats crazy I own an irda t-870 infra red rework and an aoyue 968 hot air reflow machine the max i use for reflows is mainly 170 degres C for bottom and 235-245 C for top temerature anything higher is no good for a reflow.. stay away from using heat guns on a ps3 it fails nearly every time well atleast it did for me before I had the machines..

never do a reflow with out kester 951 or other no clean flux
