New to external hdd thingy.
So i have recently bought a portable hdd. And i want to play games on ps3 directly from the portable hdd.someone please tell me all the procedure required to do so and all the softwares required. And i have listened that we can play games over 4gb because fat32 doesn't support them. is it true?
Thanks! |

1. you need a hacked console
2. install multiman and bdemu2 3. format hdd to fat32 4. use multiman to back up game to external hdd games can be any size as long as a "single" file does not exceed 4gb. multiman will split the file as it backs it up so don't worry.

you could always get a bigger internal hdd and just use that. Even games that don't work directly internally, if you make a pkg using the multiman tools they will work perfectly. Also I would recommend samsung hdds.
