Sell the pieces, you would earn good money.

Hacks... only if you know hardware.

You don't need to know the hardware in order to mod any of the systems...

For the PS1, disable the sensors under the cd drive's disc tray, start booting a legit game, and swap to a non-legit game.

For the PS2, it basically consists of removing a spring and taping down a couple points under the dvd drive, then using a disc like 007: Agent Under Fire to do the swap trick, get uLaunchELF booted, and then install FMCB.

=\ Don't really need to know much about "hardware", just need to know how to use tape, a screwdriver, and your eyes (to look for the sensors beneath the tray).

Just keep the collection with you, because those ones may get a good demand in the future. PS1 and 2 is always an asset to contain. So do not listen to the useless opinions.

I have 3 ps1's and 2 ps2's

I have a launch ps1, the 1001, i have a 5501 ps1 which was in the middle of life and was missing the serial port, and i have the final ps1, the 9001 which sucks cuz its generic buy introduced the visualizer screens when playing music.

I also have a launch ps2 which succumbed to the disc read failure thing that was part of lawsuit and i also have a 3500 (i think, it runs mcboot so thats always good)

Im thinking of fixing the launch ps2 and i have the cartridge based gameshark and modchip that connects to the back of the ps1's serial port.

I dont mess with slim ps1 that thing was a joke
