Has anyone wondered which was better and why.
I'd like to use this thread to have any post the difference and Pros Vs Cons


I'd like to say a few words considering this topic, from a owner of E3 flasher I'd like to say if you want to downgrade and be content with only limited to one Mod E3 Custom Firmware (3.55) be my guess.

The e3 flasher Nor clip is genius but with it wasn't a complete pin clip.
E3 Nor clip I believe is like much fewer pin (not sure) only which means e3 flashing capabilities aren't as 100%.

With progskeet whether is full solder or solderless I believe is the best flashing needs anyone could ever own. With the Nor clip making it that much easier with a 56-pin= 100% compatibilities function to flash.
With Progskeet you can install ANY of your favorite CFW which by far my fav is Rebug.

I'm never been a fan of Regero but it does the trick nonetheless.
Anyone had a brick ps3 that even E3 flasher wouldn't fix or tried and successfully reinstalled a CFW or OFW and still got bricked?
Even the Red Screen Of death?
Well Progskeet fixes any of that as Progskeet team has said this flashing device was built solo to ps3 and design to unbrick ps3. Though progskeet hardware can work on other devices just would need correct drivers/Software and hardware to connect to that device which makes progskeet even better to own.


Warning all I've said is what Intel I've gathered if any isn't accurate please say so in here and correct me.

well they say it's a universal flasher they don't want to be associated with ps3 (legal reasons )

but yes i just love my skeet it's just a great tool for such a low prize
now it can even be used to rgh a 360 how cool is that

the clips progskeet will release are 100% compatible much cheaper then the 360clips and actually clip to the chip

so far ive seen rsod get fixed with it
dumps that got per console intact but failed and they still could be fixed with the skeet

if E3 would care more for their customers and have a good support team
that understands english it wouldn't be a bad flasher at all
just lacking this makes it in my opinion a bad choice to get
and the prize ofcourse

If you think progskeet magically change the syscon of your console you're wrong.
You need a cfw whit lvl 1 patched even whit skeet.
Gz for your knowledge, funny that you was to explaining to other guys how to unbrick a console whit yout own patched .bin but you dont even know how a flasher work.
The demostration is the fact you was able to brick a console whit a retard-proof flasher.

Also skeet dont need any soft-mod for work on other device, it just work and it wasnt designed specific for ps3.

I just ordered my progskeet, I will give my input once I get it.
I do have 2 ps3 sitting around. I'll try solderless and solder the wires and see which is best.

If you think you unbricked your console thanks to a .bin from another console your an idiot sir.
There is a tutorial on E3 site since 2 month ago, just follow that carrefully and u unbrick ( ofc if u've a working backup), the rest is just bull****.

ProHack doesnt even know what's a flasher, just read what he write on his post, and u can easily understand he dont know nothing about flashing ecc...

doing e3 unbrick doesn't unbrick all consoles when the users dont have a good backup they bricked on!

Has anyone use the Nor Clip for Progskeet effectively downgraded or any kind of functionality?

I've heard it doesn't work well and could cause short

It can easily cause a fire. They don't work at all, ever. Soldering is the only way to go for nor, and for nand, wait until uf6667 releases the official nand clip or solder like I do.
