well norton picked it up, saying an intrusion from known host was trying to get in by means of TCP. russian ... blah blah blah. blocked it.

it was from the home page

So someone is monkeying with the server or its one of the ADS maybe.

I'd go for an ad, but keep an eye on it and make a note of it if it happens again and tell Pirate.

That's your problem right there, 'nuff said. Worried about an "attack from this website" yet you use Norton. To set your mind at ease, probably an ad, and probably a tracking cookie. Three letters for you, ABP (Adblock+)

No not worried at all. Norton was free so that went on with all my other usual junk. Buy could never bee to careful with how this scene is these days. One po ed person can cripple a whole site pretty easily. It's almost a site vs site scene. And not "random" individuals in a group releasing stuff anonymously anymore. All about ur name. So cant be too cautious.

I've never had an issue with viruses from this site.

Then again, I use a Host File to block ads with IE8.

I use comodo internet security and the ONLY times i had any virus issue whatsoever were the jbking virus on their site and the virus in the objsuite

Ads have never flagged comodo into alert.

I suggest uninstalling norton.its full of false positives and is pathetic at what it allegedly does best.

Comodo is a free suite btw

P.s. adblock+
