Ps3 bricked?? Help!!
So I was installing CFW 3.55 on my ps3 and at first there has been no problem installing it until it was at the final stage of installing. It got to about 66%. Then an error message comes up and restarts they system and resumes right when it's turned back on. And I can't even get to the secret menu to restore it. Helpppp!!!!

I was on 3.26( something low such as that) and I tryed instailling the 3.55 CFW and it won't stop trying to update. This been going on for a while cause I can't find a way out of it

Well I've read that if I of a different hard drive in then do the recovery method I swap back to the original hard drive then restore it but the only other hard drive I have is my slims and I don't want anything getting corrupted. If I use that do you think anything would happen?

You can use the backup utility on your slim to backup that hard drive to an external hdd. Then try and do it with the other ps3. Because it will get formatted and you will lose all your data if you don't back it up. Then when you want to put it back in the slim it will format, then recover the backup, with the backup utility in the xmb.

Stupid question, but have you tried installing 3.55 OFW first?

Oh well I don't know how but I got it out of install mode after months :D I think a ribbon or the blue tooth bord was not getting a good connection. Since it ls on ofw 3.55 what jb file do you think I should use?
