once again, good tutorial, i did the soldering and cutting of wire between a and b points on 2 jtp-001 boards, once again hands were shaking trying to do the soldering, the soldering job looks sloppy but all is good, and the dual booting works fine, but if you arent good at soldering, leave this job to a friend or professional who knows what the hell they are doing, all the hassle of getting the ps3 dual booting is not worth bricking your ps3, BUT SWITCHING BACK IN FORTH IS THE ****!!! once again good tut kman82!!!

Hi guys, this question if for YOU about DUAL BOOT.
![]() I have one E3 Flasher Instaled on PS3 Slim Motherboard DYN 001, I have Point A to SBCE and POint TRISTATE to SBE. I Don´t cut the line between point A and B. this is realy necessary ?? my question is, if E3 Flasher has dualboot, I allready upgrade the version of E3 Flasher with latest update.bin"2012", if my PS3 NOR ONBOARD is bricked because CFW 3.55 wk, Can I boot the PS3 Using the NOR Flash of E3 Flasher, i´m asking it because it´s logical, if PS3 Has one NOR flash and E3 Flasher has your NOR too, Maybe Can I boot from E3 Flasher or I´m Wrong.? Let me say one thing, my PS3 only keeps "ON" with FLASH FUN MODE ( I have soldering TRISTATE SBE and SBCE), because with this mode bypass normal boot PS3, when I used PS3 MODE I got YLOD and PS3 TURN OFF. Please some one expert can get talk about it. My email is maiquelrinco @hotmail .com |

Hey guys got a problem.. I have soldered for the fast dual boot with e3 flasher and when i swap from 4.0 to 3.55 cfw everything is fine but when i want to go back to 4.0 i get the screen saying connect the ps3 controller and push to restart.. so i restart but it keeps telling me to reinstall 4.0 or higher and when i try to do that i get a corrupt data error? But i know that the 4.0 pup is fine it alows me to install it from the 3.55 cfw. If the cut between A and B was not cut properly.. Could that be the problem? I think i cut it but didnt wanna scrape down to far so im not sure. But when i flick the switch from ofw to cfw it boots but when i swap hdd and switch the switch to ofw it gives me that black screen "Connect PS3 controller using USB"....Reboot.... Same thing... Try to update and get a corrupt data error...
Any Help would b great! Thanks! |
