I was knocked out once and it was accompanied by a concussion. I felt like I was drunk. I also couldn't remember anything for a few days going back like 6 months before that. It all came back to me but I was fuzzy for a few days. The instant moment it happened was kinda like...everything flashed white for a moment. Next thing I know this random chick is trying to help me walk which was extremely hard. I'm sure it looked pretty funny to to other people.

Doesn't it feel simmilar to when you get unconsious? Like that compressed feeling of all your images passing through your eyes and it feels like hours maybe when its like minutes or even seconds...

Off topic, drowning is peaceful after you get past the initial panic. The peaceful/surreal comment made me think back on it, as that is how I would describe it. For me the panic disapearred shortly after the first breath of water. It was a strange experiance, and I got lucky.
