I love how hes called "The Scene Donkey" not trying to go off topic but seriously read what and how this guy talks to people its hilarious. I picture him at his PC to big of a pussy to go into the real world so he does all his lashing on the interwebs and makes himself feel smart when at the end of the day he knows nothing,nobody but maybe 9 crunchy people care...LOL I never talk **** but really after reading what he has said and talked about FOR MONTHS and insulted anyone for any opinion but his own just shows what a big worthless ignorant piece of **** he really is... I feel bad for doing this but all of this drama amongst the scene has just lead me to recently sell my CFW PS3 and just stick my 3000 series PS3 slim. I may be wrong and kick myself in the butt soon but I honestly do not see the scene progressing especially with the next generation gaming already here (the 3DS, PS Vita, and WiiU). I do admit I had fun playing my emulators on my CFW PS3 and running some PSP and PS2 backups via cobra usb but ever since the lies that were initially told with the e3 flasher and the arise of the dongles I have decided to call it quits. Good luck to everyone remaining on the scene.

I don't see 'next generation gaming' any different to what it already is. Until the day comes where holographics figures of your self show up in another spaceship (Star Wars), Or until you can control everything touchless without needing to wave at a tv screen multiple times to get what you want to work (Xbox Kinect)
And be able to control someone VIA a some virtual-reality system (Gamer), Then and until then I personally believe what some may consider 'next gen gaming' is whats already in everyones living room/Games room/House.

The PS3 isn't dead, If TB can make a way to play 3.6+ games on a 3.55 machine then I have faith any other dev team can do the same.

Theres a difference in getting a job done to make money (Heads down ass up working) - And Getting a job done for the scene (Spare time work/A Hobby), The people who appreciate what is given to them for for free and in return Respect.

And bull**** as my post may sound, It's my opinion

Thanks to pros (Deank) (and the post uploader) who went out of there way to explain this, find it so facinating to see how everything all works

I know a little bit of programming in a specific language but I just wish I was like these devs and knew how everything works, that way it would be so easy to see if someone is lieing or telling the truth... (Time to stop dreaming!)

@newt so dongles are ok ? this so mighty dongle is just the beginning...i mean what comes next ? A dongle with a haxstore so you can buy mkv support, linux support, ps1 or ps2 support you want to use the new released firmware with it pay 60 bucks again and then rebuy all the things again... ?

All the things that was free at first but a little cormorant group have found a way to use this FREE stuff (your lucky it was not your Linux or mkv support) and just add support for +3.56 games all the other things like peek and poke and so one are stolen. They don´t found the way for this things they just take the work from others and add 1 small thing....and take the money...

you say you are happy with your ability to play mkv or linux and this is all for free...i don´t want see a scene where all new releases are just useable if you pay for it because this has nothing to do with a hacker scene this is just capitalism ...

so this is just my opinion

Haha take that! Thank you for the explanation dean. I always love these. They make the Ps3 less about magick and more about logical science. I feel smarter after having read this rather than confused why modifying a video game console needs me to buy an osciliscope or some obscure piece of circuitry that I'm not sure I even would understand to begin with.

I don't come here all that often anymore now that i got my ps3 back to OFW (after many headaches and black screens) but in all seriousness no bashing or taking sides.... TB is the only group with results.... to many times iv'e come to this site to check on any updates and it's just a few news post here and there on how a group has started work on something and they are %60, %70, %80 done and then nothing... TB ethics might not be where everyone wants them to be but they have results.
