what does this play as in file types nowadays? does it play mkv and all the other file types associated with HD files? Or is it still missing a file type? Thanks guys!

The last couple versions I've been getting constant "media renderer was not recognized" errors and now this version randomly stops my music and gives me an error upon creative visuals when playing music in Showtime.

May have to try updating showtime to the latest version. Or reverting back to 1.50 but 1.50 gave me the same media renderer problems.

"[New I/O server worker #2-4] INFO 13:16:05.375 Media renderer was not recognized. Possible identifying HTTP headers: User-Agent: Showtime PS3 3.3.385.g334dc.dirty" over and over on both PS3 Media Server 1.50 and 1.50.1

PS3MediaServer RULES!!!! I've noticed the quality of bluray streamed is superior to running blu's from your internal hdd, which also limits ref-frames while PS3 Media does not. You can also mess around wiuth the settings to get near-perfect images produced.
