Hey There!

I tried to make a BAckup from my Game SoulCalibur4, it is showing as BLUS30160 on my FileManager... However it doesnt start and i tried several Game Fixes... One is installing it on my XMB but it doesnt start, is anyone having a working Game Fix for SoulCalibur4? Or is there Something to do before it Works properly?

I am also wondering: some Game fixes come in eboot & param.sfo, some in .pkg-files! Whats the difference about that?

you're using Multiman to load it up right? make sure u have bdemu installed

There really isnt any relevant difference in fixing a game by changing the EBOOT and installing a PKG -- you're just altering files so the game can boot on certain firmwares

yes i am using multiman, i have bdemu installed but i am wondering there are 2 version available: bdemu.pkg and bdemu2.pkg which is the best?
so as i understand the .pkg fixes just contains the eboot and param.sfo and push them to the right place?

use bdemu2...

Did u try your backup with a disc in/discless, on external hd/internal?

Some games only run with a certain combo of the above

ok i install bdemu2 this evening and so far i only tried with disc in slot and on internal hdd
how is it come that only a combo from that worked?

not really sure why its like that, I just now that a few games only work internal/external and discless/with disc...

try playing it off of an external hd...

have you considered downloading the game from a website? maybe your back up is corrupted

newer multiman uses bdemu 2

mmmh i installed rebug 3.55.2 and there was the bdemu included!
after installing multiman other games are working so far, i try to download the game this evening!
i am at the latest multiman but still use the bdemu that came with rebug 3.55.2 and works fine, i am just wondering where the difference is, in another thread somone says it support splitted files!

ok i tried to start from external and i also use another backup and installed bdemu2 but no succsess so far, i load a game fix that is working as the people in the thread says but the fix contains only a text file and a pkg-file...
the text says: hdd0/SCIVGAME/USRDIR i tryed to put the pkg in there adter that i installed it over package manager but nothing happend...

strange thing is when i install the game fix it shows up in xmb as installed game (like ps/mini) so when i load the backup via multiman i have it to times in the xmb... but non of them work
