Problem wired up progskeet to 360clip and computer will not recognize it
Recently purchased progskeet & 360clip
I'm using windows 7 currently going to put windows xp back soon I wired up the 360 clip to progskeet desoldered r8 and opened r7 installed switch. I checked all of my soldering no bridging opened and closed r7 unplugged and replugged progskeet in usb restarted computer (now a little annoyed) I'm desolder all of the points and see ifmycomputer recognizes it. anysuggestions?? thanks for taking the timeto look at this thread |

Sorry I have to ask. Did you install all the drivers before removing r8 and without it hooked up to the progskeet.

r8 closed = recognized by PC when you plug USB r8 open = no way it gets recognized without r7 closed and powered by the console only when you have the clip connected to a PS3 that supplies the power closing r7 will let the PC detect it so either r8 closed no r7 switch = always recognized or r8 open r7 switched console on then gets detected |

It is best to put a switch on r8 as well like I did so it is easier to use the progskeet on other machines. But make sure that the drivers do get installed. Also when you get it working I would use windows xp sp2 or below. Thanks

power situation solved didnt realize you needed the console powered,,, Now ineed to know why after 8 dumps no nand is less then 140 mismatched blocks..

Do not flash it with anything into you get a set of dumps that do match.
Now back to the dumps. There are many reasons why this happening. Walk me through your steps for dumping. From the start up of the ps3 to the dumping. How you set the switches and everything. |

It's a good chance its the 360clip causing bad dumps. I never got a good dump with mine, and never had a bad one when soldered.

IF you are good at soldering i would try to solder it right to the ps3 mainboard and see if you can get a good read. thanks
