PS3 HAX HOW TO GUIDE:
( I have added pictures of what things look like for those who cant read or think or follow instructions properly )

First Find your PS3 model here on this page (make sure you can read and follow this as well, i.e. have a brain ):

Anything in the ALPHA SERIES and the PS3 Slim (2000) series is downgradable and Hackable (aka Jailbroken )
Anything Higher then the the 2000 series and your BONED, so dont even post thread asking how do you do it!! There getting old and annoying to alot of people here!

If your PS3 model falls into the appropriate catagory then use either the Search Function of this site or Google to find a how to guide. ( The model number can be found on backside of ps3 )

If your ps3 is already on 3.55ofw just search for ROGERO cfw or REBUG cfw, I suggest REBUG REX 4.21.1 but I have been a REBUG fan since day 1, so im a little bit biest LOL.

If your PS3 is in one of the catagories I stated and is on 3.56-4.31ofw then you must use google to search for E3 Downgrader kits in order to downgrade it back to 3.55 , then upgrade to whatever CFW you want from there.

The BANNER on top of ps3 HAX also tells you highest hackable firmware! meaning thats the firmware you need to have to hack your console. It also tells you what firmware can be downgraded back to 3.55, it currently says 4.20 but you can downgrade 4.31 as well as long as you have the right model of ps3!!!


Another tip:
set the post view number on the forum page (on the right) to 50 in stead of the basic 15 and check if your question is in the list.... (thanks to @OoZic for this tip addition to this tutorial ) this is where its located:



now if you have all this and are stuck on a part in downgrading or upgrading turtorial / how to guide then post your questions in the HELP section of the forums and someone will help you accordingly to your issue.
