If you have a backup from after you downgraded, you can flash it using flash fun. You will have to solder a wire from sbe to pao tristate.

If you only have a backup from before you downgrade,

1. Solder the wire.
2. Flash the backup, using switch 1 up, the rest down.
3. Do not turn off ps3, put switches 1-5 down and 6 up and press reset on flasher.
4. Put e3_downgrade.bin on SD card, and leave the backup on it too. Press start.
5. When that is done, cut the power from ps3 by switch or pull plug.
6. Continue with the guide from insert your downgrade dongle.

i lost my dump , my nor is empty (erased)
i have cech 2504 B [ JDS 001 & spansion s29gl128p90 ] can i dump a nother dump from another ps3 ? in the E3 onboard nor ???

Your ps3 will not work with a bios from another ps3. There is console specific info in the bios.

Rebug has a lot of extra debugging options. Rogero works fine also.

well after crying a bit and swearing a lot, i finally did it

i hacked my ps3, and its now on 3.55,

so..to help other folks

if you downgrade but it always bricks, like the downgrade itself bricks the ps3,

do this, install again your backup switch off, and it should work again, this is the important part, put all the switches down and when in xmb, press start, apparently its called the restore process, dunno what its for, but its the only thing that worked. than downgrade and put the files of step 1, and it will work, just did it now

however as well, i found out that i the e3 pup is somekind of a homebrew itself and won't work if others are isntalled. i dunno if it true, so i downloaded the stuff from their site, and it worked. it ain't rogero but its definitely 3.55 and i have some options to include .pkg files now.

i have one final question now, can i install rogero or kmeaw now? or should i leave it? or i should install multiman, or by directly quoting their site;

(Install BDEMU-355KM.pkg first, and then multiMAN_ver_02.05.00_BASE.pkg, finally install multiMAN_ver_02.05.03_UPDATE.pkg)

which are files which i dunno what they are, cause the link is down but i can find them from other places.

1 of my console bricked n non of my backups are good.I know it was my mistake.so I done soldering to unbrick.but there was no video and audio even no HDD activity.only green led lights up.

I made new dumps and someone told the dumps is fine.so I reflashed.after that another person said the dumps is bad need to patch oh and I already flash it lol.someone patched it before I reflash back to ps3.still,give no difference,no audio and video.I tried the unbrick guide,reflash and downgrade with downgrade.bin.

When entering fsm with downgrade dongle,its never turn off.its like the dongle not detected.

Is the ps3 is permabrick caused by bad dumps?

im facing new problem

tried to downgrade another console.im usually following your downgrade tutorial.but this time is kinda weird.

i have made dumps.and dumps are good.next is doing downgrade process with e3_downgrade.when finish turn off ps3.put switch all down.boot up ps3 showing connect controller screen

so i try entering fsm with power eject method after unplugging power cable.but at this time,its still showing connect controller screen.im pretty sure downgrade dongle is functioning.usually its blinking red then blue and ps3 turn off.but it never blinking blue and ps3 shows the screen.i cant even boot to xmb.i use e3 card reader

dont know why its not working to fsm.already use e3upgrader everytime i downgrade.

what should i do know?
