3.7 Playstation (noob)

Ok guys

As a guy not involved in the modding business a lot i just have a question. I currently own a fat 180 gb PS3 NOR and its running OFW 3.7 ( the last time i updated it went to3.7)
I never play online so i would like to play backed up games. Will a restore system on my ps3 restore it to the original firmwire? And will i be able to play backup games?
Thanks for understanding im a noob ^^

Kinds regards

No it won't.

You'll need a hardware flasher. Click the banner up top labelled "PS3 Scene Status" for more info.

Thanks for answering that fast alienkid! A hardware flasher is something i need to solder right? I would like to softmod it with a usb stick but think i will have to wait for someone to come through with a jailbreak for 3.7

Yup that is correct, but soft mod may not happen as the usb trick is not on 3.56 and above

Not necessarily.
The have solderless solutions for the 2 (E3= NOR and Progskeet= NAND) most used hardware flashers.

Since you have a NOR and I'm assuming you want a solderless solution...
