I am having a few problems, i have a Amazebreak Dongle that has downgraded my console firmware to 3.41 (Hermes) which is tricking it to 3.55.
I want to restore console back to original state, i have tried every method i could think of, every time i go to upgrade to 3.55 firmware it tells me that i need 3.56 or higher, when i try and load 3.56 or higher it says that the system is corrupt with a error.
I there any way i can restore it or is the system stuck on 3.41?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

that wont work . if he downgrade from 3.55 to 3.41 the old way where it make the system thinks its 3.56 , only way to sort its what i say below


@Darrylmc63 u have to downgrade to 3.21 ofw then update to 3.55 ofw or what every ofw u want , but remember u cant downgrade to a lower factory fw

Hi guys the only probelm is i cant remember what my firmware was
How do i tell what firmware my ps3 came with?
I am waiting to hear from Amzebreak on what to do.

I have tried downgrading to lower firmware but it keeps saying that it cant find any and asks me to use a firmware of 3.56 or later
When i tried to use 3.72 or 4.0 is says that it is corrupted? am i stuck with a bricked machine?

I say look it up. Like, find which model it is, and it should be on google somewhere which factory fw it came with. I think slim is 3.10

Before you do anything, make sure your on 3.41 official firmware, dont have the amazebreak dongle plugged in when trying to update.
Your 3.41 is spoofed to 3.56 which is why you cannot update.
Best thing to do is enter factory service mode and install 3.41/3.55 Official firmware from there
(Since your on 3.41 you can install firmware from fsm)

Also before attempting to to what i suggested, do a full system restore so you know the spoofer is gone.

i think it is bricked, every time i try to use any version of firmware it comes back saying data is corrupted. and first it says to put in usb containing data for firmware 3.56 or higher. it does not matter what firmware i choose it still is corrupted.
I have contacted Amazebreak people but as i suspected they are not replying.
Lucky i have another on to use.

Dude, do what i said and do a full system restore
The amazebreak dongle most likely spoofed your system to 3.56 so it wouldnt ask to update at that time.
So do the restore and then try installing firmware through the recovery menu, Your system is fine and is not bricked... :/
