A little paradoxical (..) to change our PS3's into a kind of MegaUpload with the SOPA (or whatever that stupid human-unfriendly law is named now) actions going on now.
Or is the GF from that Dutch MegaUpload connection correct with her statement that the file-sharing had nothing to do with the MegaUpload take down, but it was al done because MegaUpload wanted to start a new kind of music distribution system killing the money-making machine it is now ![]() @Mr.Goodfrag Little correction: Glad to hear that they're working again on that thing they call browser

Very strange move on Sony's part....
Just speculation here but could dropbox be used to monitor lets say pirated movie and music content? Thus resulting in the enforcement of SOPA? |

I know with Amazon (according to their ToS), anything you upload to the cloud becomes property of them(so dont upload any personal patent/copyright pending stuff lol) so I would suppose they could filter what they wanted then report it to whomever they wished.

ACTA however was signed in 2011 in the U.S. and the DMCA is still an active law.

This sounds like a future setup.
What if Sony wanted to monitor if any illegal media related to SONY was going into the Dropbox. (Am I being a conspiracy theorist... )
