well as the cell is isolated it don't no what's going on, on the out side and the only interaction is with the mail box i think

before 3.6 the per console key was never needed so something has to have changed as it is required to decrypt lv0 in the pup now
So if you can live dump or analyse the ram? all you have to do is keep installing pup´s start with 3.6 and go 1 by 1 to 4.11 and compare it
bootldr has to decrypt lv0 to check if it is legit

it would happend in an mili second but, i know there would be instructions to destroy the key as soon as it is loaded to memory.

cant write here why, since sony is buggin Pirate.(sdk).

but i would guess there would be a way to locate the offset where the destroy functions are, and there are some, like destroy cipher, destroyhash etc.

disable those fuction even with an error, and the keys woulden have been erased.

maybe we should set up an channel on irc.

why would sony be mad over the sdk 4.00 and not 3.7 ?

well libsecure is my guess.

Is there any way to direct it all to a virtual ram drive that is located on the ps3 somewhere? I've also read somewhere you can use a pen drive as ram.

I was just asking because it would probably be easier to dump a virtual drive than to solder onto the actual ram and dump.
