The TV category is between Game and Video, in some regions it wasn't active until recent firmwares.


And power cycling = turning it off and then back on.

I admire your efforts but I tried everything , its not working, I guess I should buy a new HDMI screen thanks alot

works for me 2.

I got a 52inch phillips ambilight and using a hdmi --> dvi converter.
Sound goes optical to my stereo.

Works good. hope that helps.

thats odd the website says that it can run 1080p resoloutions but W2043T-PF 's resoloution is 1600 x 900 , :S

Well al i did is hook up the cables and booted the ps3 by holding the power button till it goes off.
Then started it again waithing for the 2 beeps and let is start.

Got message if i would use hdmi said yes offcourse.

Then goto system options sound and tell the audio to use optical.

Works great :D

thats all no out of sync thing(maybe youre tv doesnt support 720/1080?)
