Here is a stupid question that im very confused on.

Why cant you place your games in game instead of games?
I know backup managers use the games folder and apps get installed in game. But in the end aint they all the same?

All my games are extracted and are not iso's so doesnt that mean i can just place them into game instead and play them without a backup manager?

I found a game(Mass Effect 2) on the internet somewhere that installs by pkg and its placed in the xmb under games and working fine just like an app and is in the game folder.

So what is preventing me from placing games in the game folder and running it like a normal app without using a manager?
