Long time supporter here of the community and I been trying to keep up with all the news and posts. So simple put. Is there a new CFW in the works or is CFW 3.55 the last and only CFW we are going to see. I know Devolpers are working hard but, would like to know if Investing in a TB Dongle is the option for me. Granted I have 2 PS3 OFW & CFW but, for convince purposes of backing up my games and playing them instead of having to keep disconecting and swapping ps3's to play newer games. Thanks

Homebrew is alive, CFW is in a coma (possible chance of revival if the ones who know how get their head out of their arse and share)

The whole scene is based on piracy, or do you actually believe the original JB device was created for homebrew? PMSL

The CFW's that followed did have a strong homebrew aspect (including Linux) but the original hardware JB was for one reason only, to give the ability of playing games from the HDD. That does not mean they HAVE to be illegal copies, but face facts peeps, that has been the main reason for hacking a console since day one.

Greed created and sold the original JB device, and greed is what is stopping a newer CFW (for most anyways).
