Is there ANY fix for 8002F225 data corrupted?
The below post was quoted word for word as it's the same problem I have and I'm wondering if there is a way around this yet..
Thanks MonoJoker "Hi all, First post here, tried searching but there's no real discussion on the above error. For those not familiar, in a nutshell OFW 3.56 (now called v1), caused an issue where you could not upgrade/replace the HDD as it rendered the console incapable of recognising firmware from external media. When you try to install ANY FW it says data corrupted 8002F225. Despite a lot of discussion on various Sony support forums including official ones where they assured users OFW 3.60 would fix the issue it hasn't. Before anybody asks, no I do not have my original HDD, it failed and as such is not an option - that, of course, is the ultimate fix for the issue. Put your original HDD back in, upgrade to 3.56(v2) or now 3.60 and you're fine. So now I'm looking for ANY options to get mine back up and running. Wondering if a PS3 Key or any other type of mod/crack/hack will get it working again. If I take it to the local flea market to the little man in the tent who cracks phones or sells R4 DS items, is he likely to be able to fix it??? Does ANYONE know if I'm a chance or do I finally give up and put mine on Ebay as f***ed and get half of its value thanks to Sony and their half arsed piracy defeating FW stuff up? Thanks for any suggestions." Original thread located http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=21206 At the bottom of thread there seems to be an answer but am unsure if it would work. I'm willing to try but would prefer some input before I start buying products :D The Fix refers to this link http://blog.jesusanchez.net/fix356SwapHDDENG Last edited by frostbyt; 02-25-2012 at 04:29 PM. |
