I would agree with you, but this is TOO OBVIOUS.

I completely agree with you here, but you never know.

The only reason I'm wating is because I won't be near my PS3 for another couple of days and I figured I'd just wait the extra little bit.

another thing is puzzling me, if the guys behind i.load have not released anything to the public then how did Sony know they had a hole in their 2.10 firmware that needed plugged in 2.17 fw ?

This does seem like a student project i agree with that, but can anybody who knows this team confirm that i.load is real or a stupid project of students! I am not going to talk about this anymore because if appears to be fake these guys are going to look our posts and lagh with us!

NOTICE: We've installed the latest 2.17 firmware on one of our 40GB systems. And the result: They fixed the hole 10 days before i.load starts. So if you want to use i.load please do not install the latest firmware 2.17! We have to test some other possibilities on 2.17 so stay tuned. right ok this is slightly frustrating ? if 2.17 is out why dont they release the i.load prog ? cos millions of people will update im sure rendering the program useless ? so if they release it people can use it now and they can work on FW2.17 for holes ect ? does anyone know how i can get in touch with this group ? i will personaly ask them to release it lol because now im stuck not bieng able to play online for 9 days ? they really should jjust release it ? whats the point waiting now its been patched ?

they probably never expected us to find so many flaws from their words so fast, thats why they're making excuses so that they can withdraw the release date easier. Still I wont trust it until it is publicly proven a working exploit. i dont mind being ignorant idiot if its true but experience taught me well to be realistic
