No display after ylod reflow repair

My PS3 got the dreaded ylod recently, so I tried to repair it using Gilsky's reflow repair guide.

At first it worked and the XMB appeared. I was then able to eject the game inside the blue ray drive. I then re-inserted the disc to play it, but after a few seconds the PS3 turned off to standby.

Now, when I turn on the PS3, the green light comes on, but I get no display.

When I did the repair, I added some flux, applied some copper shims and also bent the clips. Did I go too far ?

I tried to go into recovery menu - first holding down the power button from standby, it turns on (green light) then turns off. Then after 1-2 seconds I hold it again, but instead of the beep then 2 consective beeps, it just goes back to standby. (I also took the hard drive out, then back in again).

Do I have a brick ?

Sorry, wrong section of the forums... can a mod move it please ?

Edit: Damn, I think I have the GLOD now
