galaxy s2 update problems
ok so i installed kies ready for the upcoming update to ics for my galaxy s2 and it prompted me to up the firmware on the phone so i though why not, now my f***ing phone keeps turning it self off after about 1 minute any ideas how to fix this??

ive got odin but there are soooooo many firmwares to choose from i dont know which is the right one lol

Just heard about ICS coming to the Galaxy S II yesterday. Haven't checked to see if it's live for me yet though.
Also haven't even touched Odin yet, I got a long way to to, at least others are treading water with me :P

i was getting set up for the ics update but it took me to 2.3.5 instead (i think ics is coming at the end of the month) but i think ill use odin to install in as kies sucks

that is very easy to do but as long as you have your google account and are connected to wifi it will download all your apps again
if you want to install ics you need to fined an official update at kias wont let you update from a non official rom to ics |

the reset means that ur phone;s app settings as well as saved game files will still be there , and for ur question to which firmware to choose from remove the battery of ur phone look at the proper model number and search it
 dont download different versions fw like i did
