Yessssss! That's good news. Another quick question... I noticed that there is a bit of a feud between True Blue and JB-King. Which dongle do you recommend? I saw that JB-King can play 2.5 games now and True Blue can't.

I hate dongles. I don't even use a downgrade dongle with my e3 flasher. I use my psp.

Can you recommend what to buy then? Where can I get this E3 flasher? Isn't that the thing where you have to open your PS3 to install? I'd hate to void the warranty on it....

You will need to open your ps3 to downgrade it. With either progskeet or e3 flasher.

Wow that thing is expensive. You sure it's worth it? Crap... is there a link on this forum that shows the process of doing all of this? Like everything I'd need? Sorry for asking so many questions. I just wanna do this with little to no errors. I know you folks on here know what you're doing.

Yeah. I think I spent $120 on the e3 flasher limited, after shipping. But I have been charging people to downgrade their ps3, so it has more than paid for itself.

You can get the e3 that doesn't come with the esata station for cheaper.

Progskeet ends up being about the same price after you get the solderless clip.

You will also need a downgrade dongle. Like the e3 card reader, which is like $9.95. Unless you have a psp that can be downgraded to 5.50. There is an app called ps3jig, which will work as a downgrade dongle.

I guess the alternative would be to buy a ps3 that is already on 3.55 or lower. Or if you can find someone in your area to downgrade it for u.

jb-king is a copy of true blue so 2.5 is true-blue,s

This isn't right, at least not totally right.

We cant say if it is not downgradable, from far I know just CECH-3000 models are nt downgradable and, he is talking about a 2000(2500 included) series.
