How do I de-hash a DEX?
I've been looking for the answer to this one for a while. There's FSM and QA-Toggle method for CEX, but I can't find anything for DEX. (Is it the same procedure?) I'm pretty paranoid about bricking (again) so I have a couple questions:
-If I use the QA method on DEX, how do I check if it worked? As far as I know, I'm QA-flagged already, but you can't check it on DEX (the debug menu is already there, button combo doesn't work) -I haven't attempted to put this DEX into FSM, and I'm not sure if FSM even works on DEX. My PS3 has bricked trying to go DEX>CEX, I had to use E3 flasher to recover it (it was ylod) It works fine again, but I don't want to ever have to take it apart or get that stupid clip working again, so what is the best way to de-hash on DEX? Either a link to a guide, or verbose instructions would be much appreciated! Thanks

all i can say u
FSM works fine on 355 dex(dongle! ...FSM.pkg not tested here!)and for QA flag, if u qa-flagged on cex before convert if u decide to flash/restore back the cexdump used for convert, flash it in(i'm using a teensy(and loving it ) here with linux software dump)do not try FSM now just let it boot(it failed installing in FSM, could be wrong self, tested 2)) anyway.... it isn't required ![]() just boot the PS3 and ur back on e.g kmeaw check network-settings and presh the button-combo, it's all there, atleast on my end and fully working cex ![]() so qaflagged on cex, no need to do anything on 355dex edit: this is tested on NOR for NAND the qaflag must be identical, anyway this works fine for NOR Last edited by haz367; 09-08-2012 at 12:11 PM. |
