problem with 60GB Playstation 3 3.55 Kmeaw

every time i push X on a game/homebrew the playstation 3 crashes and flashing red light i can watch a film for hours and it wont do that so i dont thinks its a over heating problem

tried going into recovery mode and rebuilding database etc?

It shouldn't, but if your HDD is corrupted in some way then you may have to. Rebuild does what it says on the tin lol

it doesnt matter who you thank lol.
it may not even help, but try "rebuild database" as it can solve errors and doesnt usually result in any loss of data.
if it is required, it will inform you and give you the option

the option that you really shouldnt select is restore ps3 system as it will delete all user data
