if it is jb king thread so what was reason you mentioned atmel's flip soft? jb king is on Actel.

how do we know its on actel and not amtel the wiki dosent have any info on jb-king?
maybe im reading the wiki wrong.

JB-King is "1:1 copy" of TB so it is on Actel and well protected as TB. JB2USB is on different chip (there was suspicion it is on Atmel but probably wrong). Different chip means that jb2usb developers reversed TB firmware (converted into source code and recompiled to own use). In GraVoX theory this dongle is less protected.
Due to this it is better to concentrate on jb2usb and that is what GraVoX and Mark Webber are doing...

you can as long as you use the exact hardware and code which is what jbking did with the most important parts of their dongle making it require significently less work to get it working

As far as i know even skeet uses Actel chip...it's a generic chip?.
