If we are supposed to be hating on these dongles, then why is it that these things can do better than our CFWs? I just don't understand...

Because CFW is free, dongles are not and fundamentally this goes against what a scene as a whole is about.

Oh that makes complete sense. But how come we are not able to create these dongles onto our CFWs? I would try to do so myself but I do not have any knowledge of these stuff whatsoever.

Because the dongle manufacturers have a bit more knowledge about how certain areas of the PS3 work compared to everyone else and (unfortunetly) use this to their advantage due to greed and make money off of something that (in my opinion) should be free for all.

I'm 99% sure that every premium feature exclusive to these dongles will be avaiable free via intergration into future CFWs but when this happens is anyone's guess...

Ah thanks...It is quite sad though. But I feel like my PS3 CFW days is about to be no more. I might go ahead and update to 4.11 since there is not much else anymore...

I wouldn't blame you but if you can afford it, you should maybe consider keeping it on 3.55 since there are literally hundreds of games to play on CFW, great customization options available and still being developed even today from devs like @tizzy T etc., loads of homebrew/apps and then invest in a second PS3. This way you get best of both worlds and can't lose as I think most people regret when they update.

Hmm...I will see. I would try my very best to get a second one. It is true though with what you are saying. But the games that I want to play does not even have a fix on 3.55 CFW only on True Blue. D: The next following hours would decide my fate. I appreciate you and others for clearing this dongle thing up for me.
