Dualbooting/****PSN/XLink Kai
HI guys, so I miss online gaming too much on the PS3 so i am thinking of switching to OFW. However, in a last attempt of desperation I just want to make sure that there is NO way to play online with CFW. After searching online, I found these as proposed alternatives: Dualbooting/F***PSN/XLink Kai.
So 3 questions: 1) Does dualbooting let you play online (I have Kmeaw 3.55 & i dont have any of those jailbreak usb devices) and if yes whats a good tutorial to follow? 2) Does F***PSN still work? I thought it was outdated a while ago. 3) XLink Kai looks like a good idea. Has anyone ever tried it? Is it worthwhile, fun and not too laggy? Thanks, jey1234 |

2)****PSN does not work anymore...a shame though, 3) It only works on some games and I've heard it can only work with other people using this and not with regular PSN players |

I would go for question 4:
4. Buy another second hand PS3 and use that for OFW?

Unfortunately, I can't afford a second PS3. However, I don't mind buying E3 flasher or progskeet. Are these USB dongles or do I have to open my PS3?

You'll have to open your PS3.
I don't know where you're located but for the price of a E3 or a Progskeet.....on Craigslist and $30+/-...you'll be able to get another PS3.
