Guys i have 2 blurays films AC3 at M2ts format. i tried transferring them to my playstation today via usb stick, but upon research noticed that the playstation only takes fat32 usb&external hd format which i did but there is a 4gb limit, but each film is 7gb. so that option was out the way.

then i tried using a media server from my laptop which allowed me to view the film in buffer and the quality was amazing but that defied the point because i want them on my ps3. i tried copying each films from the media server to my ps3 hdd, but it took so long to download from the media server hours. so i gave up on that.

i tried burning the films on DVD DL discs and then copying em but that is far expensive because each disk is £3, and i cannot find re-rewritable ones.

is there anyway to transfer these films from my pc to ps3 without jail breaking my ps3 ? .

if not then could anyone tell me which jailbreak is best to use on ps3 now , and where i could download it, ? i do not really want to jailbreak my ps3 however if i do , could i then take off the jailbreak in the future and update my PS3 with the latest Sony official firmware from the website making it back to normal, i do enjoy my on line gaming but do not want to get caught from Sony.

If i jailbreak then transfer the films and update my playstation with the latest official firmware from sony manual install by me. then would my films still be on the hdd after ? . or would the official 4.11 sony firmware delete them?

You would have to downgrade which can be hard and expensive, Why would you want to jailbreak for 2 movies just stream them or watch them on your pc.

u could always convert the film and make the film smaller
or make a localhost on your pc and make a server where u can connect to it via ps3 browers and download it from you pc . should dl quickly cos its be a localhost on you own network
