Stuck in Factory Service Mode, Can't Get Out
My system was refusing to install any firmware so I decided to force install 4.11 using factory service mode. Well it worked, 4.11 is installed and it launches, but now I can't get out of factory service mode.
I'ved tried the "step2" Lv2diag.self a hundred times in the left usb port but the drives just flashes its read indicator and then the ps3 continues to boot to the dashboard and displays the big red "factory service mode" box. I was the verge of getting my system completely operational...now I fear it might be bricked. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

You can't get out of factory service mode on anything above 3.55

You need to get back on 3.55 if your PS3 is a FAT or slim NOR model & one day it was on 3.55 or lower, so you need a hardware flasher like the E3-flasher !!
There is no other solution |
