Thought this would be a good idea for those who are bored and want to help out the scene and make a useful tutorial :D

Requesting Tutorial:
Reply back to this thread with what kind of tutorial you would like to see posted by someone.

Please be specific in your request(s) (not too broad i.e How do I install Linux and emulators etc..). Also make sure you are not asking for a tutorial that has already been done (if you are asking for a more accurate, or requesting a tutorial to be updated then that is fine).

Creating a Tutorial:
If you would like to submit/create a tutorial we request you follow a few guidelines below:

• Give credit to original author if you are taking it from another website.
• Do not Link-Post tutorials (I.e Go to this site to learn how to do this)
• Use proper grammar and English when posting tutorials, completed with pictures (when needed).
• Clean, easy to read layout.

• How to mod the top 4 LED lights on a SIXAXIS/ DUALSHOCK 3 controller
• How to install infectious mod chip
• How to make a custom online avatar (even though only you can see it)

It would be good if there was a tutorial on making a custom online avatar if thats possible (i'm sure i've read about it but havn't seen how it's done.)

i'll try to take a diode out and to the store to look for the same size. i don't have a tiny screwdriver right now. if i find some and manage to change them i'll write it. finding is the harder part
can't be harder than what i went through to fix it when i took L2 apart. i need smaller fingers
btw anyone want the link to psn account management? you'd just need the modified and extra headers from my last tutorial.

edit: these 1.8mm LEDs aren't sold at retail stores here. i found some on the internet, but they're too small for my soldering iron. the task is even simpler than the button LED and if you just open it up you'll see what needs to be done, but it's costly and requires a steady hand.

note that only you can see this no-one else can. it is a local thing not internet . . .
